Karen Skelly is a professional photographer in Durango CO.  She serves the entire Southwestern area of Colorado including Durango, Ouray, Telluride, Pagosa Springs, Cortez, Bayfield, and Farmington NM.  She is a Certified Professional Photographer and earned that designation through the Professional Photographers Certification Commission.  This was an extremely difficult testing process involving written tests and image submissions.  She invested the time to learn her profession and that means she promises to invest that much time in her client's images.

Karen Skelly Photography loves to photograph fun weddings in Durango CO with people who want to have a great time and have their emotions out in the open to be captured in beautiful images.  Weddings are such a special time in anyone's life and it should be remembered by the couple throughout their lives and also for their children, grandchildren, and all future generations.  This is why she tries to impress upon couples the importance of a wedding album.  It's great to have a dvd of all the images, but a professional wedding album will last forever, whereas a dvd will be no good in roughly 5 years and studies have been done that show 90% of couples don't do anything with the dvd of images and so eventually, they have no wedding photographs.

Another offering in her wedding packages is an engagement session.  Those engagement images can be placed into a gorgeous 8x8 album with pages for the guests at the wedding to sign.  I can't tell you how wonderful this album is for couples getting married.  It's also a great way for the photographer and the couple to get to know each other and understand each others' personalities and how you work together.
